ChemInteractive News
This current version of ChemInteractive (2024) is a major upgrade from the last version (2016). It has a totally new design that is more user-friendly, and is better adapted to modern computers and tablets. It retains the Nomenclature and Mechanism problems but the analysis of learners' responses to the Mechanism problems is much more detailed and 'intelligent' than before.
New problem types are being added, the first of which are Structure problems that allow users to test their understanding of the structural representations commonly used in organic chemistry.

Future plans
ChemInteractive is a work in progress. After a lengthy hiatus, it is now (2024) under active development.
- A number of types of structure, nomenclature and mechanism problems are available currently, and the next phase will be to expand those sections.
- It is hoped that problems on other topics will be added later.
